This acrylic on paper painting is part of the larger "Toad Series". This frog is both very green and very sly. He has a look in his eyes that can only be described as "indescribable". It is 12" x 12" on a slightly textured watercolor paper. Signed, and numbered #74. 
 
ABOUT THE TOADS:
 
This series started off in the very beginning as a single painting on a birthday card. In March, I offered an original toad painting (or frog!) to anyone who donated $50 or more to BLM, a variety of jail cash bail funds, and several other mutual aid groups. I raised over $3000 with my toad paintings and had my hands overflowing with toads and love and energy for months to follow.
 
I have been continuing the series since, and this is one of them.
 
Every toad painting is made with so much love and affection, and each one is worked until perfect in their own little special ways. No two are identical, although there is some close familial resemblance between some.
